Your Role

Be part of our client’s team as a Claims Assistant, supporting attorneys by managing pre-litigation documentation, organizing case files, and coordinating communication with clients, insurers, and internal teams. You’ll ensure cases progress smoothly, maintain accurate records, and contribute to effective legal strategies while developing your skills in a dynamic environment.

Who You Are

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of First Party Property and Casualty claims and pre-litigation procedures (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to multitask effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Capable of understanding and following written and verbal instructions
  • Courteous, friendly, and professional in client and insurance interactions
  • Maintains integrity, confidentiality, and ethical standards
  • Outstanding multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in preparing and organizing pre-litigation documentation, including gathering documentation and relevant records
  • Manage case files from inception to closing under the direction of an attorney
  • Work efficiently with a heavy case volume
  • Communicate regularly and timely with clients, insurance companies, and third parties to gather information and updates on cases
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files in the firm’s case management system
  • Manage and organize incoming and outgoing correspondence and emails
  • Act as liaison for pre-suit communication between clients, attorneys, and insurance companies; escalate issues to attorney as necessary
  • Collaborate with internal staff to ensure smooth transition of cases from pre-litigation to litigation stage
